REALTIST CONNECT Newsletter March 2025
President's Report

Dear Realtists,
As we reflect on the month of April, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in Realtist Week, held April 6th–12th. Many of our members were active throughout the week at various events across the city. We wrapped up the week with an incredible highlight—the 100 City Building Black Wealth Tour at the L. Claudia Allen Senior Center.
We were proud to receive sponsorship and support from the City of Orlando and the Orange County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., whose contributions helped make the event a success. We are also deeply appreciative of our vendor partners, whose presence and support added immense value and community engagement to our programming.
Looking ahead, our focus is to keep the momentum going—both in our community and among our members. Be sure to join us for our monthly general membership meeting, followed by our education session and networking mixer. These gatherings are the perfect space to stay informed, build relationships, and grow both personally and professionally.
We're also finalizing some exciting opportunities to partner with community organizations for upcoming events celebrating Juneteenth and National Homeownership Month (June). These events are more than just dates on the calendar—they are vital to our mission. Juneteenth reminds us of the strength in our heritage and the importance of economic and social freedom, while Homeownership Month gives us the opportunity to elevate the conversation around Black wealth-building and empower our communities with tools for sustainable homeownership. We need our members to show up, be present, and represent!
As always, thank you for your continued membership. Your support and involvement are what keep our chapter strong. Our leadership team operates with an open-door policy, and we are here to serve you. We encourage you to get involved—because membership has its benefits, but those benefits come alive when you’re present and engaged.
Let’s continue building together.
In unity and service,
Michelle Bell
President, NAREB Metro Orlando Chapter
