President's Report
Dear Realtists,
I am thrilled to report that we have had a strong start to the year, marked by an exciting 2025-chapter kickoff at Pinstripes Bowling Alley. It was a fantastic event where we introduced our 2025 board and shared our plans for the year. Members had the opportunity to network, connect, and set the tone for the year ahead.
In addition to the kickoff, our chapter participated in the City of Orlando's annual Martin Luther King Day Parade, where we proudly represented our commitment to equity, unity, and community service.
As we move forward, we've begun ramping up our membership renewal efforts and are encouraged by the response. I urge all members to renew their memberships before the end of February to ensure they remain part of this impactful organization.
Looking ahead, February brings an exciting opportunity to celebrate Black History Month and engage with our community. We would love your presence at several events hosted by the City of Orlando, the City of Eatonville, and surrounding cities that are honoring Black History Month. We will add these events to our calendar and strongly encourage our members to attend and show their support. It's a wonderful way to connect with the community, celebrate our heritage, and continue advancing our mission of promoting Black homeownership. Check our calendar for those events!
I also want to put on everyone's s radar that planning for Realtist Week is in full swing! This special week will take place from Sunday, April 6th through Saturday, April 12th. During this week, we will engage in events that underscore our mission and highlight the importance of Black homeownership. Stay tuned for more information as we finalize plans for this exciting week.
Lastly, I am excited to remind you that we are now hosting our monthly general membership meeting on the second Thursday of every month. These meetings will be followed by our education series and capped off with a networking mixer at 6 p.m., offering a perfect opportunity to connect, learn, and grow together.
It's s an exciting start to 2025 and great time to be a Realtist. I look forward to all that we will achieve together!
