President's Report
Greetings, Realists!
I am excited to welcome you all to another impactful month with the NAREB Metro Orlando Chapter. It is always an honor to serve as your president and to be part of such a dedicated group of professionals committed to democracy in housing. I want to take a moment to personally thank each of you for your continued support and engagement. Your presence and participation are what make our chapter strong, and together, we are making a real difference in our community.
April is a significant month for us as we celebrate Realtist Week, a national initiative highlighting our unwavering commitment to advocacy, education, and service in our communities. This year, we have a full slate of events, and I encourage each of you to get involved. We will kick things off with our Day of Service on Sunday, April 6th, and we’ll close the week with a powerful 100-City Tour: Building Black Wealth Tour | Community Day on Saturday, April 12th, from 10 AM to 1 PM at the L. Claudia Allen Senior Center. This event is our opportunity to show up, provide essential resources, offer educational classes, and support Black homeownership and economic growth. We need you—our members—to be present, to engage with the community, and to demonstrate what it truly means to be a Realtist.
I also want to take this moment to emphasize the importance of being present—not just in our events but in our collective mission. As your president, I am here to support you, answer your questions, and ensure you have the tools and resources needed to thrive. I appreciate every one of you for being a part of this movement. Now, more than ever, is a great time to be a Realtist! Let’s continue working together to make an impact.

Realtist Spotlight
Congratulations to Dr. Ketia Cayo for being featured in this month's Realtist on the Move.
Dr. Ketia Cayo is a dedicated Realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty, proudly serving the Central Florida area. In addition to helping clients buy and sell homes, she is also a Notary Public and Loan Signing Agent, offering added support during real estate transactions.
Fluent in Creole and of Haitian descent, Dr. Cayo connects with diverse communities and is passionate about helping others build their legacies through homeownership and investing. She also mentors new agents, guiding them as they enter the real estate industry.
Above all, Dr. Cayo values faith and family. She is a loving wife and mother to two young boys, and holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Florida A&M University (FAMU).
